Lamborghini 2024 Half Year Financial Results are Record Breaking

It’s been about 10 years since I wrote about the end of production for the Lamborghini Gallardo. It was then that I questioned if Lamborghini had made too many Gallardo’s over its 10 year production from 2003 to 2013. They finished Gallardo production with a total of 14,022 cars. Fast forward to July 2024 and Lamborghini’s recent half year financial report shows record breaking growth for Lamborghini Group.

Lamborghini Financial Results 2024

According to the Lamborghini 2024 half year financial report, the brand delivered 5,558 total cars globally in the first 6 months of 2024. For some perspective, that roughly equates to 40% of total Lamborghini Gallardo production in just a 6 month span. The 6-month total also represents a 4.1% increase in delivered vehicles compared to the first 6 months of 2023. The U.S. remains the strongest individual market with just over 1,600 cars delivered in the last 6 months. The brand made over $1.7billion in the first half of 2024, which represents a 14.1% increase from 2023 and sets an all-time profit record for Lamborghini Group.

Times of Change at Lamborghini

With these great numbers, it’s also a time of great change at Lamborghini. The 10 year reign of the Aventador and Huracán have come to an end. With the brands first hybrid V12 debuting in the new Revuelto and a hybrid V8 debuting in yet-to-debut Huracán successor. Lamborghini says the order bank for the Huracán is completely full through the end of production which is set for December 2024. The $600,000 Revuelto, which has begun customer deliveries, already has a 2-year wait list. The Urus SE, the new hybrid variant of the Urus, has a full year’s worth of orders. They say change is good, and you won’t find someone at Lamborghini who disagrees.
